Alba is also a city of great wines. During the harvest, you'll find the finest bunches of Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Moscato during visits to local wineries.

Alba is the birthplace of one of the leading Italian novelists of the late twentieth century, - Beppe Fenoglio, who gave voice to the people of Langa, capturing the most authentic, the harshest and the most hidden aspects of humankindThe city is also home to the Eusebio museum which provides a complete picture of the environment of Alba and its historical development with an exemplary collection of archaeological finds, as well as various sections dedicated to Natural Sciences.
