A STORY THAT BEGINS IN THE LATE 19TH CENTURY
The history of this residence begins at the end of the 19th century, when the farmhouse and its land were purchased for 1,500 lire by the wealthy Roggero lords.
Here their only daughter Olga was born and raised. She has been an esteemed primary school teacher who found in her pupils the affection of children and grandchildren. She in fact has never get married, choosing to live simply and taking care after the work of the estate and the fruits it gave her.
At the beginning of the 1980s the Pretto family moved to the hamlet of Rivalta. This is when they met Miss Olga. After few time they adopted her as a member of their family.
OLGA’S LOVED HOUSE BECOMES A FARMHOUSE WITH HOSPITALITY AT THE HEART
Twenty years later, in his memory, the Pretto family chose the name the Cà d’Olga to give a soul and a story to the location they had created, transforming the old residence into a farmhouse, thanks to a careful restoration.
Managed for two decades by mother Silvana and daughter Irene, the farmhouse has always maintained the charm of the architectural style of the place, elegant and reserved.

In 2022 the Pozzato family, a from Novara and always passionate about the Langhe, tooks over the Cà d’Olga farmhouse.
